Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

Licensed Illinois Public Adjuster

Effective Immediately: All Public Adjuster applications and supporting documentation for both resident and non-resident adjusters and business entities must file through the NIPR electronic filing system.  NIPR.com 

Contracts and bond documents must be uploaded to the NIPR document warehouse at the time of submission.  The application will not be approved or reviewed until the contract and bond are attached and fingerprint records have been received.

All paper applications or checks will be mailed back to the licensee with a request to file through NIPR.

Public Adjusters in Illinois are required to use a contract form that has been filed with and approved by the Director of Insurance.  To assist public adjusters in creating a contract form that complies with all applicable statutes and regulations, the Department has created the below checklist and contract template.
