Effective Immediately: All Public Adjuster applications and supporting documentation for both resident and non-resident adjusters and business entities must file through the NIPR electronic filing system. NIPR.com
Contracts and bond documents must be uploaded to the NIPR document warehouse at the time of submission. The application will not be approved or reviewed until the contract and bond are attached and fingerprint records have been received.
No paper applications or checks will be accepted after July 1, 2023. If received, paper documents will be mailed back to the licensee with a request to file through NIPR.

To assist Public Adjusters and Public Adjuster Business Entities licensed in Illinois, the Department has developed a Public Adjuster Contract template for each individual and business entity use. This contract template will meet statutory requirements needed to obtain approval by the Department.
