Morgan Winters Confirmed as Get Covered Illinois Director
Springfield–The Illinois State Senate confirmed the appointment of Morgan Winters as the Director of Get Covered Illinois. Get Covered Illinois, a division of the Illinois Department of Insurance (IDOI), is the official Health Insurance Marketplace for Illinois consumers to purchase quality, affordable health coverage. Get Covered Illinois is transitioning to become a fully independent State-Based Marketplace for plan year 2026.

Illinois Department of Insurance Aids Flood Victims in McHenry County
SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois Department of Insurance (DOI) will join several other state agencies to provide assistance to flood victims in McHenry County.
• A Multi Agency Resource Center (MARC) will open Friday July 28 at the McHenry Township Recreation Center, 3719 North Richmond, Johnsburg, IL.
• The MARC site will be open Friday from 11am - 8pm & Saturday July 29 from 9am - 12pm.
"We have seen the devastation these floods have caused to Illinois residents," said Illinois Department of Insurance Director Jennifer Hammer. "People are not sure what will and will not be covered under their insurance policy. We will be there to help educate consumers so they can begin to recuperate what they've lost."

Illinois DCFS receives $9,200 and hundreds of childcare items from Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
CHICAGO – Tonight, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) will join Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.’s Centennial Regional Conference at McCormick Place in Chicago to accept a donation of $9,200 and hundreds of onesies, bottles, diapers, wipes and other childcare items.
